Antwayn Jones, better known as CEO Jonesey has been taking over the Seattle music community by storm. As an Indy Hip Hop artist born in Hattiesburg, Mississippi and raised in Seattle, Washington, his unique sound and witty wordplay always puts people in a trance and it’s always a good time! Over the past year he has played all over the community connecting not only people with his music but with his personality as well. Jonesey has performed at Stone Lounge in Bellevue, Factory Luxe and Central Saloon in Seattle. Most recently this past week he performed at Chapel Lounge in Seattle as well. This summer he plans to do a college tour including some of our Washington colleges too!
Jonesey’s love for music isn’t the only thing, he’s also a family man. Jonesey is a loving father and husband of two. When I got a chance to sit down with him he expressed that’s who gets him through everything when it comes down to the business side of music. “It’s always family over everything, everything I do is for them” referring to his two sons, loving wife Linea Michella Jones and endless family members that keep him going. To this day they continue to be his motivation. Through them, his Seattle fan base community and his music producing business, Young Life Records, Jonesey has support from all over and doesn’t take it for granted. The love and support for them is what also helps write some of his music as well. Not only does it explain some of his flow but also some of his ways of promoting his music. On average, Jonesey tries to connect with young adults and teach them that there is more to life if you’re willing to work for it.
