With the overwhelming success of Ms. Lauryn Hill’s inaugural Diaspora Calling! at Brooklyn’s historic Kings\u00a0Theatre, she has announced the MLH Caravan: A Diaspora Calling! Concert Series. The tour, presented\u00a0by Ms. Hill in association with Live Nation and global music and entertainment platform Tidal, will be kicking\u00a0off August 27th in Philadelphia, PA and running through November, stopping in Chicago, Toronto, Boston,\u00a0and many more cities along the way.<\/p>\n

The concert series will bring aspects of the inaugural festival to the road. Each show will include special\u00a0guest performances by artists from throughout the African diaspora. Of the concert series, Ms. Hill\u00a0says: “The MLH Caravan allows me to continue the theme of unity and celebration of the many facets of\u00a0cultural and artistic beauty throughout the African diaspora while on tour this summer and fall. In these days\u00a0of tension, tumult and transition, an exchange of this kind can yield direction, expression, understanding\u00a0and empowerment as well as connection, self Love and appreciation that hopefully overflows into our\u00a0respective communities.”<\/p>\n
